I hope you all made it through Mother's Day. I admit that I was not looking forward to it, but the overwhelming response to this site and the outpouring of support and encouragement from friends, family, and even those of you that I have not met gave me the strongest sense of peace. I have felt God's love for me in a way that I have never felt before, and now I want more and more of that comfort and peace. There is so much power in vulnerability - it's truly amazing! I think there was only one occasion on Sunday where I had to say to myself in my head, "Lord forgive them, for they know not what they [say]!" :-) Luke 23:34

Some of you all might have seen this already as it has been making its way around the web, but this video about the story of Chloe is so perfect and beautiful that I had to share with you all. It's a bit on the longer side (and will probably make you cry, so get a tissue), but I promise you will not be disappointed! Such an incredible testament to the sovereignty of God and the plans he has for us, which are always far better than our own.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9

God is good, in all things!
